ICICI Bank Inaguration

On 26th May, 2016 the 141st Branch of ICICI Bank at Chennai (TN) [Ceebros Building, No.50, Montieth Road, Egmore, Chennai – 600 008] was inaugurated by Dr. Harish L Metha Chairman Indian Red Cross Society Tamil Nadu Branch.  Many eminent dignitaries amidst Dr. T. Ravichandran, MD DCH, Director – Institute of Child Health, Egmore, Mr. Srinivasan Iyengar, Regional Head ICICI Bank, Mr. Thallam Sreekumar, Zonal Head ICICI Bank, Mr. Sivaram Kumar, Cluster Branch Manager, Mr. Narayanan A.K., Administrative Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Tamil Nadu Branch attended the inauguration function.

Chidambaram Sub Branch:-

World Health Day was observed on 07.04.2016 at Arumuga Navalar Hr. Sec. School, Chidambaram. Tmt. B.S.Vijayalakshmi, RDO & President, IRCS Chidambaram Sub Branch presided in the presence of Dr.S.Arulmozhi Selvan, Executive Director of the School. Human Rally was organized in coordination with YRC Wing of Annamalai University on 17.04.2016 in order to exercising franchising create awareness among general public and to achieve cent percent franchising  of Votes.  Tmt. B.S.Vijayalakshmi, RDO flagged off the Rally. Hand Bills were distributed by the YRC Volunteers.





Papanasam Sub Branch:-

To mark “World Health Day” a Human Rally was organized on 07.04.2016 towards creating awareness among general public. JRC & YRC Volunteers and School Teachers from various Schools participated. IRCS Papanasam Sub Branch Office Bearers participated.subbranch03







Tenkasi Sub Branch:-

On 07.04.2016, Human Chain was organized on the occasion of World Health Day at New Bus Stand, Tenkasi. Thiru V.Chandran, Vice President, IRCS Tenkasi Sub Branch presided over the function. Thiru S.Kandasami, Tahsildar, inaugurated the Rally. Thiru V.Subramani, Secretary, IRCS Tenkasi proposed Vote of Thanks. As part of the Programme, Signature Campaign was arranged for creating awareness on cent percent Voting among general public. YRC Volunteers from Mars Paramedical College and Pleasant Para Medical College participated.

Kancheepuram District Branch:-

Prof. Pulavar R.Manickam, Secretary, IRCS Kancheepuram District Branch organized Women for Women 2016 campaign on 14.04.2016 at Chengalpattu. As an attempt of World Record, Women / Girls were united together and formed as Biggest Human symbol of Mother Therasa.

Janani Sishu Suraksha Karyakram (JSSK)

Government of India launched Janani Sishu Suraksha Karyakram (JSSK) to be implemented nationally where all the pregnant women offering delivery at Health Institutions and treated sick new born up to one year of age will get free transport service. To implement this Scheme as a Pilot Project covering all the major Obstetrics & Gynaecology Women & Children Hospitals at Chennai, Government of Tamil Nadu, Tamil Nadu Health Systems Project, decided and engaged the services of Indian Red Cross Society, Tamil Nadu Branch. Around 15 vehicles were earmarked for operation as a Pilot Project by Indian Red Cross Society, Tamil Nadu Branch.
