Day Care Hospital

The Department of Health, Govt. of Tamil Nadu organized a function to distribute Appreciation Certificates to the Staff of Health Department. In that Dr.C.Vijayabaskar, Hon. 155377 – FREE HEARSE SERVICE News Letter Report – Mar’16

All the vehicles allotted for Free Hearse Service were on road and were utilized cent percent for the transportation of deceased to various places in Tamil Nadu. 7882 corpses were transported by 151 Free Hearse Mortuary Vans during the month of Feb’16 from various Government Medical Teaching and Non Teaching Institutions to the native places of the deceased at the request of their relatives in all 32 Districts of Tamil Nadu. The cumulative figures of bodies transported right from the inception are 324879 corpses as on 31st March ’16.

Katpadi Sub Branch:-

First Aid Training was imparted on 29.02.2016 – 01.03.2016 to the staff of Power Grid Corporation of India SUB BRANCHESLtd. Thiru C.A. Mathew, Chief Manager, Power Grid inaugurated the FA Training in the presence of Thiru D.V. Sivasubramanian, Chairman, IRCS Katpadi Sub Branch, Thiru R. Seenivasan, Vice President, IRCS Katpadi Sub Branch and Thiru V. Palani, Jt. Secretary, IRCS Katpadi Sub Branch. Thiru K. Prabhu  felicitated.  Thiru S.N. Jenarthanan, Secretary, IRCS Katpadi Sub Branch and Thiru K.J. Suriyanarayanan, First Aid Lecturer imparted the Training.


Rameshwaram Sub Branch:-

Executive Committee Meeting of IRCS Rameshwaram Sub Branch was held on 13.03.2016 at St.Joseph Hr. Sec. School. Fa. A.Glament Raja, Chairman, IRCS Rameswaram Sub Branch presided in the presence of Thiru Mohamed Bakkir, Vice Chairman, IRCS Rameshwaram Sub Branch. Thiru M.Ragland Mathuram, subbranch02Secretary, IRCS Ramnad District Branch distributed Certificates to 20 IRCS Life Members. Various Minutes / Resolutions were passed during the meeting. EC Members participated. Thiru J.J.Leon, Treasurer, IRCS Ramnad District Branch proposed Vote of Thanks.

Medical Awareness Camp on “Glaucoma Disease” was organised on 11.03.2016 on the occasion of World subbranch06 SUB BRANCHES SUB BRANCHES SUB BRANCHESGlaucoma Week at Govt. Hospital. Thiru MJF. K. Sakthivel, Vice Chairman, IRCS Sankarankovil Sub Branch presided in the presence of Dr.Senthil and Dr. G. Ramachandiran, Secretary, IRCS Sankarankovil Sub Branch.  Students from K.R. Naidu College of Nursing participated and Tmt. Thilagavathi, EC Member, IRCS Sankarankovil Sub Branch proposed Vote of Thanks.







Tiruvidaimarudur Sub Branch:-

Human Rally was organized in coordination with JCI on 29.03.2016 towards creating awareness on Voters subbranch07Day among general public. JRC Volunteers held the placards during Rally. IRCS Tiruvidaimarudur Office Bearers presided over the function.

Janani Sishu Suraksha Karyakram (JSSK)

Government of India launched Janani Sishu Suraksha Karyakram (JSSK) to be implemented nationally where all the pregnant women offering delivery at Health Institutions and treated sick new born up to one year of age will get free transport service. To implement this Scheme as a Pilot Project covering all the major Obstetrics & Gynaecology Women & Children Hospitals at Chennai, Government of Tamil Nadu, Tamil Nadu Health Systems Project, decided and engaged the services of Indian Red Cross Society, Tamil Nadu Branch. Around 15 vehicles were earmarked for operation as a Pilot Project by Indian Red Cross Society, Tamil Nadu Branch.
